However, users can no longer view and edit this value from the MapSource user interface. When importing older format files, the base name of the files is preserved in an effort to simplify the conversion process. In previous versions, if you copied something to the clipboard and exited MapSource, the information would not be on the clipboard for pasting when you opened up another application.
