However, I did find a 3rd party tool which did at least allow me to run the game. Unfortunately, I was told that this 3rd party tool did not work past a certain patch level of the game, so I never patched it before.
Last week, I bought a new computer. This one meets all of the specs for NWN2, so it shouldn't be a problem, right? I tried the auto updater. I saw some errors scroll by. When it was done, the game wouldn't run.

I uninstalled the game, and started installing these patches. Can't someone tell those idiots to create a single patch to upgrade from older versions?
