When the Temperature indicator lights Flash both the Freezer and Fridge lights flash in unison and produce a slight buzzing sound. When this is happening I cannot alter the Temperature settings - pressing the adjustment button has no effect at all. I think that the Fridge Freezer is about 8 - 9 Years old - but it is in excellent condition.

Perhaps I will get more replies. By turning it off you just reset the PCB and if it is ice on the evaporator or sensor it will not be working correctly and show as an intermittent fault.
